Our client, a design studio with an outstanding reputation in the industry and well known clients is hiring an experienced salesperson to help them drive the next stage of growth. This person will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, selling the licensed font portfolio on a subscription basis. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of selling subscription/licensed base digital products, a passion for the creative and design industries, and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote subscription-based licensed fonts.

  • Identify and target key market segments including design agencies, corporate creative teams, and independent designers.

  • Prospect, engage, and secure new clients while maintaining robust relationships with existing customers.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through licensing options and subscription models to meet their unique design needs.

  • Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

  • Leverage insights to refine sales tactics and contribute to product development discussions.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demos tailored to client requirements.

  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term subscription agreements.

  • Work closely with internal leadership on sales processes, but also on developing sales structures, playbooks and GTM strategy.

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, subscription renewals, and client feedback.

  • Report on sales activities, forecasts, and market trends to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in software, technology, publishing, media, advertising, or design.

  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

  • Familiarity with digital subscription models, selling licensed products, and SaaS sales methodologies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Highly motivated, with strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a font foundry, digital creative agency, or a similar environment.

  • Established network within the creative or design community.

Salary: $100-140k base salary plus commission
