Our client is a natural personal care product startup revolutionizing immune health using natural sources. They are research-driven and committed to clean, safe, environmentally sustainable resources and practices. They are now looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to manage the end to end wholesale business strategies and identify new business opportunities. This important position will maintain relationships with business partners and determine service standards while promoting innovation and productivity in a fast-paced business environment. Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of retail operations keeping on top of best business practices and industry standards
- Develop and continuously update long term strategies designed to increase sales, maximize efficiency, and promote growth
- Conduct monthly & quarterly detailed analysis on sales, shipping, budgetary compliance, and inventory management
- This position leverages technology and data to prepare operating and financial reports, through weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses required by senior leadership to guide business performance
- Develop and maintain a list of principal and alternate vendors and establish effective relationships and communication
- Conduct appropriate planning and oversight of regular and annual inventories
- Provide oversight on B2B efforts & develop growth projections for future years
- Provide appropriate oversight and guidance in the selection of items offered for sale
- Conduct sales briefs to external audiences as required
- Ensure appropriate inventory management practices are established and maintained to ensure products are procured and on-hand in retail stores as needed
- Leverage NetSuite to streamline operations, inventory management, and financial reporting, ensuring data-driven decision making
- Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to optimize product assortment, promotional strategies, and in-store experiences
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high performing retail team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in retail management/strategy, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and its applications in the retail sector
- Establishes positive relationships, acts with customers in mind, and have great networking and relationship management
- Leader through both action and collaboration
- Constantly acquires new industry knowledge and skills and share learnings with team members and colleagues
- Proven track record of successfully managing a selling workforce and achieving results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
This is a full-time, remote position
Salary: $150,000/yr – $180,000/yr
