Our client is a helps companies and government agencies with their transportation and surface maintenance challenges. They are a family owned and growing facilities maintenance organization in Charlotte, NC, has a select opportunity for an Equipment Sales Representative selling into municipalities. This is an outside sales role can be based out of Charlotte or Greenville, SC.

They are seeking an equipment-oriented person to sell heavy equipment into municipalities. You must be comfortable working with and demonstrating their machines.

They provide extensive training and support for our products and services. Individuals need to be seeking a career and not just a job.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and Cultivate relationships with municipalities throughout this defined territory.
  • Daily Travel within the territory to call on prospects and existing customers.
  • Be a good team player and be a customer-first person.
  • Ability to listen, learn, and then consult and advise the customer which type of machine or services would work best in their environment.
  • Knowledge of Renting this type of equipment would be of benefit.
  • Applying yourself to self-improvement, continuously learning and crafting your skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a clean Driving Record
  • Mechanical Aptitude with an interest in equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer Skills
  • Strong work ethic / trustworthy
  • Ability to learn and be trained for success
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision / self-starter

Benefits:

  • $50,000 – $60,000 base salary, plus commission
