Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end, handmade wall decor is looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join their growing team. In business for over 50 years, their team of talented artists create one-of-a-kind pieces for the home decor and hospitality industries. Their work is rich in creativity, diversity, and range as well as style and designs. Their skilled in-house artists create bespoke pieces, adding originality and impeccable craftsmanship to a variety of spaces. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing B2B-focused marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and support company growth.

This is a fully onsite (5 days/week), 3-month contract-to-hire role based in La Mirada, CA.

Key Responsibilities
Team and Creative Leadership:

  • Lead, manage, and inspire the marketing and creative teams to produce innovative and effective B2B campaigns
  • Provide guidance to ensure cohesive messaging and a consistent approach to marketing efforts
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance performance and accountability
  • Organize and oversee content creation, including photoshoots and video production, ensuring high-quality and on-brand assets

Strategic Marketing and Campaign Management:

  • Develop and execute data-driven B2B marketing strategies that align with business goals and enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Plan and manage advertising, promotional, and social media campaigns across relevant B2B platforms, including LinkedIn and industry-relevant channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Marketing, Sales, Product Support, and Design to maintain cohesive messaging and brand alignment
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics and campaign effectiveness, providing insights to optimize strategy

Social Media and Content Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of social media strategy, ensuring active engagement with B2B audiences
  • Oversee the creation and consistency of visual and written content for website, email marketing, social media, and paid campaigns
  • Maintain a content calendar with compelling materials for digital channels, including social media, email, and online publications
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to capture real-time content and provide event coverage that strengthens brand presence
  • Monitor social channels and respond to interactions in a timely manner to foster a strong community presence

Budget and Performance Tracking:

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Track and measure ROI on marketing initiatives, using data to guide future strategies
  • Set and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of campaigns and partnerships
  • Explore innovative marketing opportunities, including potential brand partnerships, to expand reach and generate revenue

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing and team management
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing within retail or agency environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create engaging, audience-focused content
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners, fostering collaboration and alignment
  • Proficiency with marketing and social media tools; experience with HubSpot is a plus
  • Innovative thinking, with a drive to explore new marketing strategies and content ideas
  • Experience building marketing functions from the ground up

Base salary: $70k-120k DOE + benefits
