Our client is seeking an innovative and dynamic Marketing Manager to join their team and help shape truly groundbreaking dining and social experiences in Downtown Los Angeles. This totally unique, experiential venue is a first-of-its-kind concept that features distinct destinations, offering a blend of dining, drinking, and entertainment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nightlife, a hands-on, can do attitude, and a knack for creating compelling marketing strategies that draws guests in from a variety of backgrounds.

Responsibilities
PR 

  • Stay on top of PR teams daily to maximize coverage; monitor press for missed opportunities or new targets 
  • Develop PR-worthy activations and pitches
    • Work with ops and culinary/beverage on ideation and execution 
    • Develop all materials for pitches – written content, photo/video, social 
  • Influencer management – vet proposed influencers from PR, identify influencers to target by venue  

Social Media 

  • Daily management of social media team – review forward content calendars; monitor feeds to provide feedback and direction; oversee community management SOPs and handle incoming requests; strategize for follower growth
  • Advertising – monitor spend and ROI on a daily/weekly basis and proactively adjust; review and approve all ad content and strategies 
  • Proactively identify partnerships to drive follower growth and engagement 

Websites / Digital 

  • Manage digital ad spend budget and ROI and adjust constantly based on reporting – Monthly Review 
  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns; review reporting to adjust strategy and distribution lists 

Programming / Partnerships 

  • Develop innovative programming/activations to drive people to the venues 
    • Identify target audiences for each venue to strategize activations 
    • Work with ops to identify need periods and develop promotional campaigns (e.g., brunch activations, happy hours) 
  • Develop forward calendar based on events in the market, holidays, etc.
    • Stay on top of nearby events at and adjust activations based on target group 
  • Oversee end-to-end activation management: developing content, marketing across all channels (email, social, PR, digital ads, listings), curating guest lists, targeting influencer attendance, coordinating entertainment, day-of management 
  • Identify high profile partnerships to target new audiences, boost engagement, etc. 
  • Strategize and manage seasonal installations as necessary
  • Serve as point person to coordinate with hotel marketing on all hotel guest engagement, offers, on-property events 

Content 

  • Direct regular photo and video shoots 
  • Coordinate with ops to strategically capture content based on on-property events
  • Strategize for user-generated content  
  • Manage graphic designer for all content needs – flyers, menu redesigns, email templates, social ad templates, etc.
