Our higher education client is seeking tech-savvy IT and Media Support Specialist to join their team. They are looking for a dynamic problem-solver that will support the organization in all things tech-related and ensure their tech foundation remains solid for smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Berkeley, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and install software and hardware as well as manage inventory
  • Support tech issues onsite and remotely and tend to end-user incidents in a timely manner
  • Oversee audio-visual setups for events and basic troubleshooting for meetings and conferences
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, and manage inventory
  • Train users on hardware, software, and systems
  • Manage technology projects and act as the point person for migrations and new solution implementations
  • Manage vendor relationships with outsourced IT partners
  • Document support activities and resolutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in deploying and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.
  • Experienced in handling conference room setups, Zoom/Teams conferencing, telephony systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Proven ability as a desktop technician to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Base: $75k-85k DOE + benefits
