Role Description
The Head of Marketing and Communications will be responsible for creating strategic and tactical marketing efforts in order to increase brand awareness and accelerate growth. The position plays a key role in the development and execution of all marketing efforts, including branding, LinkedIn/ email campaigns, client communications, web content, brochures, client workshops, conference materials, and researching and writing about our main product, AMI and its competitors. The candidate will also be responsible for lead generation programs and partner events. All in an effort to drive new customer acquisition and expansion. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, and have a strong track record to report and deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Overall execution of the strategic plan for Public Relations and Marketing Communications to increase awareness of the company.
- Drafting and distributing press releases around business milestones; establishing press relationships at key publications
- Liaising with the Head of Business Development to establish targeted lead generation campaigns and automate CRM management in order to improve incoming leads. Present findings and recommended solutions with clear insights and execution plans to address opportunity.
- Responsible for content development of annual corporate client events, webinars, trade shows, print and electronic messaging.
- Work with regional sales executives to target niche markets in a cost-effective manner
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and perform data deep dives to identify actionable insights
- Foundational understanding of attribution and how certain channels support the overall marketing program
- Proficiency in Excel & data analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Proven project management skills to include lead generation and marketing campaigns, exhibitor events and company run forums.
- Ability to work collaboratively, set priorities, coordinate projects and tasks cross-departmentally with contractors and external vendors, and prioritise competing interests.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Past VC funded FinTech agency and/or Sr Marketing executive experience
- Science degree and Python / SQL experience is a plus.
- Rapid growth experience is a plus
- Present findings and recommended solutions to leadership, with clear insights and execution plans to address areas of opportunity
This role will report directly to Head of Business Development

- Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000, depending on experience
