Our client, a leader in the healthcare space, is looking for a Director of Operations to join their growing team.
This is a full-time role based in Encino, CA covering the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
The Director of Operations will oversee and manage the daily operations to ensure quality service delivery, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and excellent client satisfaction. This leadership role involves streamlining workflows, managing office staff, overseeing clients’ care, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations, and driving the agency's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality service delivery
- Oversee the scheduling, recruitment, and retention processes to maintain adequate staffing levels
- Supervise office staff, including schedulers, recruiters, field care coordinators, and compliance personnel
- Provide mentorship, performance reviews, and training to support team development and accountability
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategic initiatives
- Conduct assessments to procure new clients and oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive care plans for clients
- Address escalated client concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Monitor caregiver performance, engagement, and retention strategies
- Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations governing home care services, including caregiver licensing and training requirements
- Conduct audits and implement quality assurance measures, including periodic field visits
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and legal requirements, advising the team on necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to expand client base and market reach
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Support initiatives to develop private pay and other revenue streams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in home care, healthcare, or related fields, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of home care industry operations and regulations, including Medi-Cal, VA programs, Long T erm Care insurance, and private pay standards
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in home care management software
- Leadership and team-building expertise
- Ability to develop and implement efficient workflows
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
Base salary: $75k-85k DOE
