Our client, a global leading AdTech company leveraging machine learning and proprietary algorithms who is specialized in online video advertising and developing advanced technologies is looking to bring on an experienced CEO with strong ad agency expertise. They focus on the planning, optimization, and execution of video advertising campaigns across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven executive leader to lead and expand their digital presence in the USA. This is a high-impact, sales-focused leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a sales and operations team, and building strong relationships with brands, advertisers, media agencies, and technology partners. They are new to the US, with a small team. This will be a hybrid role. Our client needs someone who enjoys the start up sphere, has worked globally and has a can-do, roll up your sleeves mentality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a strategic commercial plan to drive revenue growth and market expansion in North America.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating and closing high-value deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, media agencies, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Team & Operations Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small but dynamic team (currently two team members) with the potential for future expansion.
  • Oversee campaign execution, working closely with the operations and AdTech teams to guarantee efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.

Market Strategy & Insights:

  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide senior leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business success.
  • Ensure a smooth execution of all commercial and operational processes in the region.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a strong background in media solutions for agencies and advertisers.
  • Deep understanding of the US digital advertising ecosystem, including media agencies, ad buying processes, and key industry players.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within media agencies, programmatic platforms, or video AdTech companies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading sales and operations teams.
  • Extensive network of contacts within media agencies and brand advertisers.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising, DSPs, machine learning applications in AdTech, and performance-based video advertising.
  • Experience managing P&L responsibilities and driving regional growth.
