Our client, a rapidly expanding B2B security systems installation company based in the East Bay, is hiring for an Account Manager to join their successful team. The company is going through a period of sustained growth and has developed an outstanding reputation over their 15 years in business, and is looking to add another accomplished Account Manager to their impressive team. 

The company has a strong inbound engine, and already has upwards of 500 inbound leads per month. This role won't involve prospecting and cold calling, as they already have such a strong lead generation program in place. This role will focus on developing relationships with new inbound leads, demonstrating the value of the products and working closely with technical teams to develop quotes and proposals. This will be a full sales cycle role, from first discovery calls through to close. Experience using modern sales tools like Salesforce and Zoominfo is important, as well as some experience selling into technical ICPs within government organizations. Any experience selling low voltage systems in security, telecommunications, IT managed services, A/V or other network IP based systems will be a big plus too.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling security systems installation services into B2B clients across multiple industries.

  • Running a full sales cycle – from initial discovery call through to close.

  • Overseeing assigned territories and ensuring quotas/targets are met and exceeded. 

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to bring in and expand new business in assigned territories.

  • Managing a large volume of communications over phone and email with prospective clients.

  • Keeping updated with clients, understanding their business and upcoming needs and maintaining relationships.
     

Requirements:

  • 3+ years B2B sales experience – ideally selling into technical ICPs in government organizations

  • Experience selling low voltage systems – security, telecoms, IT managed services etc

  • Outstanding oral and written communication

  • Competitive but team oriented salesperson with a proven track record of top performance

  • High energy and driven personality

  • Coachable with a willingness to invest time into personal and professional development

  • Long term mindset with a desire to become an expert in our client's industry

Salary: $80k base / $160k OTE

5 days per week onsite in Contra Costa County
