Our client is a fast-growing startup, applying artificial intelligence to the drafting, negotiation, and analysis of contracts. They are on a mission to change the way organizations approach documentation and harness the power of the data within their documents. They recently closed their Series B and with a global footprint, they support some of the world’s largest financial institutions and are trusted by leading banks around the world, including Citi and Goldman Sachs.

They are looking for a driven hunter to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, a strong track record of achieving sales targets, and a passion for technology. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and managing the sales process from start to finish. 

Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry with a focus on either broker dealers or the buy-side (e.g. asset managers, hedge funds etc.). 
  • Prior experience in FinTech is considered an asset. 
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as software, product development, data integration, and familiarity with key technical concepts. 
  • Create and build out comprehensive business cases to address identified problems or opportunities and support strategic decisionmaking for prospects and clients. 
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify potential areas of growth and improvement. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process. 
  • Understand clients’ business needs and develop customized solutions to address their challenges. 
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets. 
  • Collaborate with the sales engineers to provide clients with accurate information about our products and services. 
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue and profitability. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system. 
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • 7-10 years of Business Development experience working for a financial institution. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Experience with CRM systems and other sales tools. 
  • A self starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for technology. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
