Our client is highly successful, well-funded and established start-up that has conquered a global market in the eCommmerce / CPG space. They are currently looking for an accomplished Head of People to lead their People Operations in the US. This role requires strong leadership skills that can help accomplish important pivots within the organizations and will work as an integral part of the executive leadership of the company. Responsibilities:
- Build and implement people strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
- Work closely with executive leadership to align People initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Lead talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and headcount planning to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Build strategies to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, focusing on employee satisfaction and retention.
- Provide strategic guidance on leadership development, succession planning, and initiatives related to workforce diversity and inclusion.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between management and employees, addressing concerns and promoting transparency.
- Lead the compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Mentor and lead the HR team to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of strategic leadership in senior HR roles, preferably at the VP level or above.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing people strategies that drive organizational success.
- Strong understanding of HR dynamics, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Experience with working in organizations with salaried exempt and hourly non-exempt employees, as well as unions.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive workplace culture and achieve employee satisfaction and retention goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Master’s degree preferred

Comp: $175K – $250K plus benefits, DOE
