Our client, a boutique custom software development company with an excellent reputation in their space for high levels of service delivery is hiring for a Sales Executive to join their team. The company works with top tier clients across multiple industries including the likes of Abercrombie and Fitch, Leaf Homes and Safelite Autoglass on the development and implementation of custom software solutions and technical process improvement.
This person will be responsible for both net new business and building existing accounts, so an ability to run a full sales cycle from prospecting to close as well as cultivating client relationships to build revenue on key accounts is important for the role. The ideal candidate should have a background selling highly consultative managed services into both mid-market and enterprise customers, with expertise and deep knowledge within specific verticals; retail, manufacturing, managed services, insurance a plus. This role will work closely with the founders and close knit cross functional team, and offers a lot of opportunity for career growth.This role is fully remote, with occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with leadership and founding team to align sales efforts with the company’s overall go-to-market strategy and positioning.
- Prospect into target accounts, build strong relationships with partners, and drive new business through strategic outreach and engagement.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and service demonstrations that effectively communicate the value of our custom software and IT solutions.
- Drive the sales process from start to finish, close new business deals, and deliver on revenue targets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to position our solutions effectively and anticipate client needs.
- Operate with a sense of urgency, work autonomously, and ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
- Collaborate with the technical and leadership teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients post-sale.
Requirements:
- 8+ years as a top-performing sales rep selling technical solutions and/or managed services.
- Proven experience in selling to developer and IT-centric buyers.
- A “hunter” mentality with the ability to drive results, actively pursuing and closing new business opportunities.
- Ability to speak with an understand an extent of technical language with DevOps, Cloud, Software Development, and IT services.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and partners effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: 125k (possible flex) + 5% on net new business and 1-3% on existing business
3 weeks to 3+ months average sales cycle, deals ranging 200k -3M.
