Our client is an successful, fast-growing and well funded travel and hospitality startup revolutionizing the way consumers engage with unique services in a high-demand market. With a focus on innovation and providing exceptional value, they are building a game-changing platform that’s rapidly gaining attention. As they continue to scale, they’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead their marketing strategy, drive brand awareness, and help accelerate growth.
Position Overview:
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that builds brand awareness, drives customer acquisition, and increases revenue. You will be in charge of both strategy and execution to start with, and will work closely with executive leadership to amplify their current growth trajectory. You should love working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Create and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with company goals, targets key customer segments, and supports business growth.
- Brand awareness; Strengthen the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and communication materials.
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the marketing team, fostering a creative, results-oriented environment.
- Customer Insights: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and opportunities, driving targeted marketing initiatives.
- Digital Marketing: Launch, manage and oversee digital marketing efforts across SEO, SEM, social media, email, and other channels, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
- Content Strategy: Develop engaging content that speaks to the target audience and drives conversions.
- Analytics and Optimization: Use data to monitor campaign effectiveness and refine marketing efforts to maximize impact.
- Partnership Development: Identify and build relationships with key industry influencers and strategic partners to expand brand reach.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA a plus.
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing startup environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align and inspire teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend for growth.
