Our LA retail client is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create high-converting campaigns, ensure a seamless online shopping experience, and maintain consistent brand messaging across channels. This role will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate closely with the digital marketing team to identify content needs and updates, brief these changes to external agencies, and play a key role in email marketing strategy and execution, Shopify store management, and compelling copywriting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Email Marketing (HubSpot Focus)
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using HubSpot, including newsletters, drip campaigns, and product promotions.
- Segment audiences and create personalized email flows based on customer behavior and lifecycle stages.
- Optimize open rates, CTRs, and conversion rates through A/B testing and continuous improvements.
- Monitor email performance metrics (bounce rates, deliverability) and report on campaign performance.
- Ensure all emails comply with CAN-SPAM and GDPR regulations.
2. Shopify Store Management
- Maintain and update Shopify pages, including product listings, pricing, descriptions, and promotional banners.
- Coordinate product and sale launches, manage promotions, and ensure smooth checkout processes.
- Monitor website performance, track customer behavior, and suggest optimizations for conversions and UX improvements.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance Shopify templates and ensure a cohesive brand experience.
3. Copywriting and Content Creation
- Write compelling email subject lines, CTAs, product descriptions, blog posts, and landing page content that aligns with brand voice.
- Develop persuasive copy for Shopify product pages to drive traffic and conversions.
- Collaborate with designers to create cohesive, engaging visuals paired with strong copy.
- Edit and proofread all marketing content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
4. Cross-Channel Coordination and Campaign Management
- Align email campaigns with broader promotional calendars and social media initiatives.
- Coordinate with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on promotions and messaging.
- Monitor Shopify and HubSpot integrations, ensuring a seamless flow of customer data between platforms for better targeting.
5. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Track key performance metrics from email campaigns, Shopify store sales, and product page performance.
- Use data insights to optimize future campaigns, email flows, and product placements.
- Report campaign results regularly to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to improve outcomes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
HubSpot Expertise
- Proficient in creating and automating email campaigns, workflows, and segmentation strategies.
- Experience with CRM management to optimize email personalization and targeting.
- Shopify Experience
- Hands-on experience managing Shopify stores, product catalogs, and theme customizations.
- Familiar with Shopify apps and integrations to enhance store functionality (e.g., upselling tools, reviews apps).
Copywriting and Content Creation
- Ability to craft engaging, conversion-driven copy for emails, websites, and product descriptions.
- Strong attention to tone and brand voice, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of email analytics, Shopify performance reports, and basic SEO principles.
