Our client is an innovative leader in the SaaS industry, revolutionizing the way companies manage their digital marketing and UX. With a unique approach that combines data-driven insights and high-performance design, they’ve built a reputation for delivering exceptional results to clients both in Australia and internationally. Now, they’re expanding into the U.S. market with a growing base of enterprise clients, and they’re looking for a dynamic Head of Direct Sales to lead their charge.

The Role:

As the Head of Direct Sales, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers and Performance Marketing Managers. Your focus will be on strategically targeting key accounts, while also prospecting new opportunities through various outbound channels (video, email, phone, and social). You’ll lead high-level conversations with senior sales and marketing executives, driving new business and ensuring you meet your monthly quota of qualified sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of Business Development and Marketing Managers to drive sales.
  • Develop and execute outbound strategies to target key accounts and prospect into new opportunities.
  • Lead high-level sales conversations with C-level executives, especially in marketing and sales roles.
  • Achieve and exceed your monthly quota of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients in key sectors, leveraging existing knowledge and contacts.
  • Provide consultative solutions that address clients’ needs with enterprise-level digital marketing and martech solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in a data-driven, results-focused sales role, with direct impact on business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be both empathetic and persuasive.
  • A demonstrated track record of selling martech, digital marketing, or media solutions to senior marketing decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with quota and commission-based compensation structures.
  • Experience in building consultative relationships with marketing and sales leaders is a strong advantage.
  • Prior experience leading a sales team is highly desirable.

Compensation: 120K – 150K base + OTE

  • Demonstrable success working to a data-led, results-focused role with direct impact on business growth

  • Clear and compelling empathic and persuasive ability

  • History as an individual contributor selling martech, digital marketing or media solutions to key senior decision makers in marketing teams

  • Experience with quota and commission compensation structure

  • Knowledge of and contacts in key sectors will be considered a major plus

  • A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell enterprise solutions

  • Building consultative relationships with Marketing & Sales leaders
